PolarDad: Alright...complicated but could be interesting. Go to your collection and sort the games in order of how you rate them. How far down do you have to go before you hit a game made before 2000 and what game is it?

purplewurple: I count 19 games that I rate a 10, excluding expansions or remakes. One is from the 50s, 7 are from the 90s, 2 are from the 00s, 8 are from the 10s, and one is from the 20s.

imyourskribe: Hmm neither my ratings nor my collection are even remotely accurate. But Merchant of Venus and Magic are right there at the top.
pwilz: Acquire, Modern Art, Mississippi Queen, and Ra are all near the top, with Acquire being #1
Blinko: ASL #1, Puerto Rico #2 and Twilight Struggle #3. It keeps going. Not enough disparity in game ranking on my list to make meaning of this idea, since I have so many games in general.
Phil%20Fleischmann: #1, #2, RoboRally, Cosmic Encounter, in fact, most of my top rated games are from before 2000.
0Shea0: #2 Cosmic Encounter. It is only the second down because my own game is the first.
RavingLoon: #4, the DnD Computer Labyrinth game from 1980. It could also be as high as 2nd if not for alphabetical.
Ruesailmana: (Not counting promo's en expansions): RoboRally (1994) at 11 (17 total), directly followed bij Incognito (1988) and Middle-Earth (1995)
MABBY: Eurorails (1990) and it is my top ranked game. My second favorite, Princes of Florence, is from 2000 so I suppose it doesn't qualify. I also have highly ranked Scrabble and the card game Euchre, so my ratings are chockful of old games.

RealGuest: Blood Bowl is my top rated game
mattomaw: Not far. 8. El Grande. Could be 6 but there are two games alphabetically above it.
PolarDad: 27 games down is Survive: Escape from Atlantis (1982). I didn't count expansions and I counted all the Unmatched games as one game.
