¿Question #224627?
PolarDad: If you were in Scouts, what skills do you still remember?
Phil%20Fleischmann: I still remember pretty much all the knots. And other rope work. It's come in handy many times since. And various camp cooking techniques.
Josey_23: Archery and camping without luxuries
Chris%20Page: How to light a campfire with just flint, steel, tinder, kindling, matches, pine sap, logs, lighter fluid, cigarette lighters, gasoline-soaked rags, solid oxygen, and a blowtorch.
Fribian: Backpacking a little lighter.
Gilgermesh: How to cheat at the pinewood derby racing.
imyourskribe: I was never a scout. I remember how to wear pants on my head, though.
RealGuest: I'm still learning
pwilz: Knots and lashing. Some lifesaving. Emergency preparedness. Some camping and outdoor cooking. Some first aid, though some of that has changed.
mattomaw: Loads of them. Many knots and lashings. A lot of firecraft bits. Cooking without equipment like pans etc. Loads of stuff to do with how to use tools, like axes for example. Bits of first aid. Construction using poles and stuff. General stuff to do with hiking and camping. Bits of map reading. Tree recognition. Probably loads of stuff I cannot think of right now. Our scout troop was awesome!
0Shea0: I earned my mindgames badge in 96'.....or did I?
Woelf: I never joined Scouts, but my older brothers were in it when I was still pretty young. All I remember were the pinewood derby cars.
Grimsalt: I can tie a figure-eight knot with my hoodie strings.
pricero1: I can use a woggle.
MABBY: Sit in a straight line and don't talk.
