pricero1: When a housefly flies around your home, what is its strategy regarding its route?

Grimsalt: From personal observation, they map-out the layout of the premises from room to room ; dotting the ceiling with pheromone beacons, then surfaces at human head level, then objects at waste, then finally floor - looking for food. If they're scared, they'll reset their patrol from the start, like it's a rehearsal. From my quick Google to answer this question, apparently only females leave pheromones, so IDK for sure... Whatever, they're grosse / grim.
TomTi89: We don't get many of them. Well, we had some fruit flies a few months ago. Tracked down the problem. Won't talk about the cause.

Jedadeana: Ussualy to divebomb me. Seriously. Dad used me as bait once to get rid of one in the house. Luckily we don't get bugs in the house too often here (in America most people have bug screens on windows, I was really surprised when I went to Europe and didn't see any)
