Blinko: How are you liking Stranger Things Season 4?

freechinanow: I found the last season thoroughly disappointing. It was too self-conscious of its own success while also being thoroughly out of ideas. I don’t have much hope for S4 but we’ll watch it of course. EDIT: I haven't finished Season 4 yet, but I wanted to say to anyone reading this that the first two episodes suffer pretty much from what made the last season not great. And then by Episode 3 it improves dramatically almost immediately. Episode 4 was thoroughly well-written, well-structured, and well-acted. I have hope for the remainder of the season.

MABBY: It's gone too much into the creepy and slimy, and the story is suffering. Plus Hop should remain dead.

RealGuest: Just cancelled Netflix and have little in the way of regret. I'll probably watch it in a weak moment this winter, but it seems likely it has passed its prime. Nostalgia and shock value only go so far.
