TomTi89: We have a magnifying glass at work. Some of us call it the third eye. Helps us check if something is dirty or scratched, or just help with our eyesight in general. There's also a big tabletop one with a light, but I seem to be the only one to use it. Possibly because when you move it around [the actual glass is attached to a moving arm] it just falls back down again. You need three hands - one for the "eye", one for the item, and one to poke at the item with a probe or similar item.
