¿Question #228585?
pricero1: How high does inflation need to be for you to be worried?
Woelf: As long as wages increase to keep up, it won't be overly damaging in the long term. Wages are increasing to match, right?
TomTi89: About this high! *holds arms apart*
ThroughTheDeckGlass: 2% is already a wealth destroyer over decades. 7% starts to create pain now. 'Real' salaries don't keep up, and neither does savings or investment income. All while prices on everything rises.
Blinko: Hyper inflation.
Derang3d: There's so very little I can do about it :/. So worried, kinda, but not too much.
freechinanow: A cup of coffee from Starbucks here is now $3.10. Even with it being Starbucks, I was shocked they would take a cuppa over the $3 mark. That being said, it’s not the high price that alarms me; it’s the lineup outside of Starbucks that has me most concerned. Prices go up 20% everywhere and _nobody_ changes their shopping habits. You think companies are going to lower their prices, knowing that higher prices doesn’t curb buying habits?

RealGuest: It's already worrisome. I was worried before the numbers were reported as inflation. You can only run the printing press so long before the ponzi scheme is discovered.
PolarDad: I am already mindful of it but not worried. To what benefit is it to worry?
pwilz: My board games will still hold their value.
mattomaw: When she explodes.
