Blinko: Ain't gonna be a Y2K this time around.
PolarDad: I have my kids in this one. That alone makes it my favorite.
MABBY: Personally, this century-- in general-- sucks. For mankind, though, there were way more breakthoughs and innovations last century.
Jedadeana: I had high hope for it in the beginning, but the last decade hasn't been doing well......
Woelf: Surprisingly similar, unfortunately. Plagues, clamping down of social rights, war in Europe, and even the nazis are back.
Derang3d: Well on the one hand, not so good. On the other, not too bad. We've had our major Flu, got in early on the Cold War stuff, but on the other hand we've learned a lot about sustainability, and due to the interwebs it's far easier to gather info and protest Anonymously. Also far more examples on both sides.
pwilz: Hard to say. In our favor, there's been no Great War by 2014.
