¿Question #229698?
Blinko: Have you ever calculated how much time you have saved up? Say $25 could buy an hour of time. Interesting when you look at it this way.

imyourskribe: Not on those terms, but I definitely put a monetary value on my time when making purchasing decisions.
pwilz: I haven't thought if it in quite those terms, but I do use a 'time is money' calculation of about $25/hour when making decisions all the time. For instance, if going across town to buy something will save me $15, but take an hour of time, then it's not worth it. It's one of the reason I never worked really hard to optimize my tax deductions -- it took too much time. A lot of my household chores I enjoy doing for the sake of knowing I can do them, but some of them are way better to outsource so that I can spend time playing board games.
magikaru: I could save a whole year for only $219k!
PolarDad: I don't understand "saving" time. I can see spending it more wisely. As far as I see, time will always be spent...well and poorly, it is still spent.
Derang3d: It wasn't a bad movie per se, it just wasn't a great one either :).
pricero1: Can't take that time with you when you die.
