¿Question #229932?
TomTi89: We only stayed in Switzerland (Zürich, specifically) for 12 hours in total, including sleep. However, we had not realised it is allegedly the most expensive country to visit. Opened my wallet and the money just flew out. Evaporated! How expensive is it to visit your part of the world?
BOBBYCAN: I'm not really sure, but it's probably a "normal" tourist town, as far as prices go.
rayzg: It's expensive to eat at restaurants in Canada. First, there's the sales tax, about 15%, and then there's the tip, which is another 15%. The machines that process your transaction make tipping somewhat easier by automatically calculating the percentage to tip, but it does this after the sales tax has been applied, which wasn't the case before.
Derang3d: Depends - if you just get things from the supermarket, not too expensive. If you stay in a hotel and raid the mini-bar, probably "very".
PolarDad: No, Oklahoma actually has a rather low cost of living
pricero1: You should try living there for seven years... (Mind you, I was getting a Swiss salary.)
