ssmooth: I favor a Sauvignon Blanc, a Soave or a white Bordeaux. If I have to drink Chardonnay, it had better be a good one. For reds, again a light Italian wine suits my tastes, but I'm used to the usual table wines, and the occasional Chateauneuf du Pape or Pinot Noir is not unwelcome, either.
