¿Question #2539?
gashlycrumb: What is your favorite Carcassonne expansion, and why?

Woelf: I&C, T&B, P&D, Catapult
BOBBYCAN: I believe in expansion, but not inflation.
oriecat: The River, because it's the only one I know, since it's the one my xbox has.
Karlsen: The Expansion, at least that's what it was called when we got it. Because it removes some of the randomness of the base game and makes it all more playable.
kelmit: Inns and Cathedrals. It adds great tiles to the game, is simple to teach, and changes the strategy interestingly.
Nikku: None
KrisVerbeeck: catapult. You can shoot the entire game away
xofour: Only played Carcassonne twice. Never with an expansion. AS such I am totally not qualified to give you an answer.
jessitron: Run away, run away.... the River.
muzfish4: Inns and Cathedrals. I like it because it's one my family will play with me. They find to other ones too much hard work.
Luthrin: Only played the base game
DKahnt: I like Cathars... good interaction
Capitaine Grappin: I just play the City, it is complete and better.
wolper: Builders and Traders because it lets you benefit from drawing all those boring road/field tiles.
Mitch37: The Count, because he reminds me of Grimace
Darilian: The one where the blue meeple kills the green meeple.....
Golux: Well... I prefer City Wall... no expansions. Has a good amount of variability and the wall is neet!
ctrzn: hunters and gatherers
DHEK: I've not played any Carcassonne expansion or even the base game itself. I've only played the standalone "Carcassonne: The City" version. That one's quite good though.
aleo09: dont' have one
jmrichar: Traders and builders - adds complexity and interesting decisions without dragging the game out.
djsparkydog: I like my carcassonne like I like my ice cream, vanilla.
PsyJam: the river, because it's the only one i got
daveroswell: cc set on fire edition...
domcrap: Don't like any of them as much as the original.
szilaj: The Princess and Dragon. It makes the game far more exciting.
bigbadsteve: i have only played the castle
MisterCranky: I like the one that came in a square-inch box. I never opened it or looked at it or ever played Carc again once I'd purchased it.
FrozenHoHos: The Kathars. Sabotage, why else?
Helenoftroy: traders expansion, it gives the opponent a reason to finish a city
Mordachai: Trader and Builder - beautiful rules alterations that ups the fun alot!
jasta6: I'm still waiting for the original version to come in to my Hobby shop, but I'm looking forward to the Princess & Dragons Expansion.
scriptorum: The Castle, because it's the only Carc expansion I own.
Chris Page: Inns and Cathedrals, as it makes roads much less unworthwhile.
Kazin: Hunters & Gatherers. The only one I've played.
brainrob: They're all a load of poo
scubadawg1: Hunters & Gatherers - NO FARMERS!!!!
zadmando: Wiener dog and the Cobb salad expansion
mgringo: Inns and Cathedrals. It gives more options to scoring without detracting from the theme of the game.
daw65: Inns and Cathedrals. The changes it brings are meaningful, but do not significantly alter the gameplay.
Lord_Prussian: The river, I guess, because it doesn't change much or complicate the game, which imo is not worthy of complication
CharlieWonka: I like the look of dragon and princess but I haven't played it yet
sourwyrm: they all rank a 3 or so for me
thoia: Traders & Builders prob. but I use Inns & Cathedrals a lot just got Princess & Dragon.
Bearcat89: None of the above.
WasQ: Inns & Cathedrals, because is still a very simple expansion and not change the game more than others.
TaliaIsabelle: Traders/Builders because Builders are great and Pigs are adorable, Count is good too though
ValJor: The Count. Read this thread: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/geekforum.php3?action=viewthread&articleid=501927
chaddyboy_2000: Builders & Traders, the builder.
djlg: None of them! I don't like a single one.
CDRodeffer: The King & Scout -- the scout roles improve H&G.
puffinge: I'm liking the City, also Hunters and Gatherers.
2amp: none
skelebone: I've only played the River and Inns & Cathedrals, and they are o.k.
AlorielLelyn: I'm not really sure.
gnomehome: None, I dislike Carcasonne
Dave: The River, because it extends the length of the game less than the other expansions.
snoozefest: ark of the covenant; nice mix of the best things about other games
heli: I like the rules, art & feeling of the prehistoric one.
jttm: Castle
