arkibet: elevator music, because I work on the 26th floor
pwilz: The Grease Soundtrack, because a friend of mine liked it. We got revenge by playing "Paint it Black" over and over again.
ZeroZilla: I just escaped light-rock purgatory by buying an iPod to take to work! God, I hate "Adult Contemporary". Who ARE these people?
PsyJam: no shit... I'm glad you asked.. I'm at work all day, and there's no music. Just white noise. But, clerical has a radio and I can barely hear it. I swear, every now and then, there's this same song playing all the time.. it's real popular right now, and the chorus has a brass trumpet-like sound of 'WwwwWaaaAAAAhHHHhh wwaAHAAH!' .. with this sludgy beat. I have no idea what it is, but I know it's top 40, and it freakin' BLOWS!
Pigs Breakfast: Conference bridge hold music.
BobbyChicken: um, Jeff Harrington, because it's still good
Cmot Dribbler: music when i get put on hold on the phone. cause i need to talk to the person i am on hold for

engdy: Kindermusik - except for the cool Howard Levy harmonica - to help my kid fall asleep
JonBen: meh
Langoroth: The worst music I have ever been forced to listen to on a consistent basis is rap.
Reloaded: Gansta Rap... it's funny and it makes the time pass with a smile on my face.
_Kael_: Most Top40. Radio at work.
Hoju: thank god I don't have to do this
vampywife: if the music is crappy, i don't listen to it on a regular basis.
ststrat: French pop, because my buddy is into it
Frankenfletch: County, it's usually playing on the bus
Helenoftroy: rap because people won't turn down their music
brainrob: I don't listen to tedious crappy music!
Joanna Olsen: I don't
Kazin: I don't listen to crappy music ;)
Megadev: Monster Magnet's Goliath and the Vampires. Because it's on a good CD and I'm too lazy to skip to the next track. It's not exactlty crappy, but very monotonous.

Dr. No: Nelly Furtado; I love her voice

heli: theme to the west wing is getting kind of old
bluebehir: At the moment my car stereo is broken, and I am forced to listen to the radio. All radio music, by very definition, is tedious and crappy but I listen to it because it breaks the monotony. And because my stereo is broken.
Musti: Sugar sweet poppy music. My favourite radio stations plays it sometimes
djlg: I don't know what it is, but there's a teleconferencing service I use which has awful background music that can't be avoided until the conference starts.

CortexBomb: I don't listen to crappy music on any basis, let alone regular
skelebone: Yuck, there is some stuff from a Sony Wega demo disc that sometimes plays incessantly here in the store, and it drives me nuts. Think smooth jazz or new-age "relaxation" music. ad infinitum.
chaddyboy_2000: Why would I listen to it if it was tedious and crappy?

Spielfreak: The theme from Monday Night Football
jttm: Fortunately I have the luxury of not owning an iPod.
Tim Synge: The stuff they play while you are on hold on a corporate phone system. The only thing worse than that is *not* hearing that tedious crappy music because they replaced it with a listen-to-the-options-and-press-the-number-on-your-keypad deal.
