nix342: Ever forget an important rule when explaining a game?

Paradox Games: Yes. I forgot to tell a person thast both players get a combat phase.

Gregski: All the time. Most players I play with aren't fanatics, so they don't mind much.

Pithagoras: plenty of times. In Carcassonne, I forgot to explain the importance of farming. --> it didn't go well. Only near the end did someone ask.......and made me remember. Needless to say, I won.....whups.
bcooperok: I usually leave out scoring and end of game; that way I can spring it on everybody when it is too my advantage.

Woelf: It has happened on occasion, but usually it's someone on the receiving end that forget the important rule until after they try to do something illegal.
