¿Question #3808?
skelebone: What is the longest game you have ever played? How long was it?
Narlgoth: Probably Talisman or 8 player Arkham.. About 4 or 5 hours.. Difficult to recall. Wargames wise I took part in a 24 hour Warhammer 40k game in a church basement for charity. Interesting as I did not get struck by lightning once. I also broke the enemy in my table section and got to advance to other tables as a consolidating army which was fun!
Felimid: "Twilight Imperium: 3rd Edition". 7 1/2 hours by the time I quit (it didn't last much longer after that, I was told later).
Caerid: Carcassone - we had it up to almost four feet long.

Marasaurio: Arkham Horror. It took us 5 hours to finish a weak Ithaqua
Numskull: 7 Ages. 13 hours, all of them miserable.
scriptorum: Civilization. Great.
Patticus: Diplomacy. We started 6:30 PM, by 6 AM we had to stop and only 1 player had been eliminated
DHEK: Probably Axis & Allies. More than 12 hours long I think. It was a long time ago, so I don't really remember much.
POvidiusNaso: A game of Risk. Took about 6 or 7 hours.
aleo09: 2 1/2 years
Beyak: Civ: around 12 hours

Shakar: Advanced Civ ~9h.; Empires In Arms, multiple session for ~100h.

bigbadsteve: probably either risk or rail baron. i would guess 4-5 hours
ThatFalafelGirl: god. probably some awful game of monopoly
Gecko23: Risk. At least 6 hours. I've never played it, or anything over 2 hours since.
skrutsch: Encore seemed like it took about a week.
richdknows: Titan...days
javelin98: About four months. It was a game of Battletech using about 100 pieces per side and a huge set of map sheets taped together in my best friend's basement.

kuhrusty: I'm currently playing a game of Killer which started in 1988. I haven't actually seen any of the other players for nearly 17 years, because I move to a different state and change my name & appearance whenever I begin to suspect that they're getting too close.

Bearcat89: Freedom in the Galaxy...took longer than it should have due to the use of mind altering substances
CDRodeffer: If you count play by mail, I had a game of Super Mastermind that went on for six months. If you mean over the board only, I think the longest was probably RISK with 6 players. It once lasted around 8 hours.
Spielfreak: Das Motorsportspiel, which is at least 4 feet long. In terms of duration, Adv.Civ at 10+ hours is the champ.
chaddyboy_2000: I used to play Axis and Allies in high school. I think we had a 15 hour game once.
skelebone: I think I played Risk 2210 for four hours one time, because we had a really slow player, and a dinner break in the middle.
