¿Question #3964?
skelebone: On which game in your collection would you place the most personal value?

Fribian: All of them, but if I truly had to give them up I can separate myself from them. I can't pinpoint just one because there are too many that have great memories of playing them with people. It's just cardboard and plastic.
bpeace: Road to Canterbury, because I went through a lot to get hold of it.
Woelf: Pirates of the Spanish Main or Mage Knight
Haring: Dune
mkal: Duel of Ages
Felimid: Scrabble.
ZiggyZambo: Rosenkonig
mummykitty: Probably GDW Operation Crusader. It was the first "collectible" game I bought.
jasta6: B-17:QotS or Combat Commander...............................................................................................................
Mors: Go
gsilva: Talisman second edition and all the expansions(miniatures inclusive)
cmchavis: ASL - time invested
consolewa: My ratty old copy of Axis & Allies from the '80s, if we're talking sentimental value. In terms of what I enjoy the most? War of the Ring, hands down.
dogzard: None. Games are just things. They may give us pleasure, and we enjoy them, but they are not important.
radynski: Call of Cthulhu CCG
everlong205: The one that's worth the most
frieque: Probably Dawn Patrol - of my favourites, it would be the most difficult to replace.
DHEK: Maybe Settlers of Catan, since we got the most games out of that one and I've used that as a gateway game for many people.
vampywife: i'm not sure i get what you're asking...personal is in sentimental or personal as in favorite game?
cluegirl: my alfred hitchcok clue,....i wanted it since i was a teenager!

MisterCranky: Whichever one people want to play at the time.
javelin98: Fortress America
ralpheous: Grave Robbers from Outer Space. It was my first professionally published game.
Helenoftroy: Wizard Kings and Shakespeare
SkyBry: Don't really have anything I could call a 'collection'. But my staunton chess set is very nice.
brainrob: None - much as I enjoy gaming, they're all just stuff
Chris Page: Magic
Syrion: Tigris & Euphrates.
scriptorum: Civilization, although I've treated the box poorly over the years. Sniff.
aramis: Too many to pick...
rawdawg: Axis and Allies (1st addition) It has been a family tradition scince I was 6, that was 17 years ago
skrutsch: Cosmic Encounter.
shizzane: Good question. Hmm, would it be the one I play the most often, or one I couldn't buy anymore, or one that would cost the most to replace, or one that is the most fun? Let's see, I probably play PR the most, but at least 2 other friends have that so mine rarely gets opened. A game I wouldn't be able to purchase any more would be a good choice, but I don't always play those as much. The costlier games would be annoying to have to buy again. The games that are the most fun are even divided because some are fun with a gaming group, while others are fun with the wifey and I don't think any of them are the same. Man, that's a tough question. If there was a game that belonged to all categories that would be my final choice. ...but I just haven't been gaming long enough so I can't say. Whew. That was exhausting.
ZombyDawg: ASL
Payne: El Grande
ssmooth: What does that mean, "place the most personal value"?
ctgamer: 1st edition Awful Green Things (bought new in 1980)
GrandpaDave: The Monopoly set my grandpa gave me.
matthew.marquand: Samurai
Cavedog_pdx: Hannibal: Rome vrs Carthage - both personal and monetary value. Replacing it would be a nightmare.

dakarp: War of the Ring.
jttm: None really.
