¿Question #3966?
skelebone: Presuming you had made a game prototype, to which game company would you pitch it?
GeoffreyB: Catalyst Game Labs
Woelf: All of the good ones.
Randy Cox: Northstar (sadly, I picked R&R and they still have mine two or three years down the road).
ricardofo: SPI
Jatoha: I don't care
Felimid: No clue ... but I'd choose a curve ball or fast ball. Wouldn't that just be wicket? >;)
toadsoup: That depends on what kind of game I had made, but I would love to have Rio Grande accept one of my ideas.
Tredogg: Fantasy Flight Games
tankexmortis: Z-Man.
Madgit: Pitch it to a _game_ company? That's a pretty good idea, and might explain why Kraft and Oldsmobile have never written me back...
the bored gamer: I'd probablymake a game which either fits to the Eggert or FFG catalogue
coyotelaughs: avalon hill
cgund: Rio Grande
Impr3ssion: I did, and I would like to have pitched it to Rio Grande.
petegrey: ffg
ZeroZilla: I'd start with GMT, see if I could get it on the P500. After that, I'd start shopping it around, wholesale. Fantasy Flight might consider something by me...
lostintheverse: Fantasy Flight
IanthePez: Rio Grande
matthan: Z-man.
POvidiusNaso: I have no idea. Z man?
DHEK: Rio Grande Games.
aleo09: 8ft llama
Daklu: No clue... probably produce it myself.
Neopeius: One that wouldn't pitch it.
MetalGuitarist: probably Eagle or Fantasy Flight
sdonohue: It would depend on the genre.
scriptorum: Would entirely depend on the type of game I made. I'd love to create the kind of game Days of Wonder would produce.
Geosmores: none
Greedo: Wizards of The Coast. Maybe I could snag some free Magic cards!
Squashua: Steve Jackson Games.
JonBen: all of them... or maybe just three
darcyj2: Cactus Game Design.
brainrob: HiG
CMOT Dibbler: A new game company. That way, if it stinks, they can always rename themselves without alienating a fanbase.
vampywife: It depends on the type of game, some games are Milton Bradley-type games, some are Eagle-type.
Chris Page: Depends very much on the game, but failing that information, Hans im Gluck.
skrutsch: Pando Games
MK-Ultra71: Days of Wonder
jasta6: MMP (old TAHGC) i loved these guy's
Loquutus: Rio Grande and Cafe Press since I know Jay and Ron.
jellospike: Days of Wonder
tipigi: Fantasy Flight
beakermyers: Depends on the game
javelin98: Hasbro. Are there any other game companies left out there?
Thedalek: Depends on the game. For a small game which could have a sci-fi or fantasy theme and might sell at the $20 mark, Fantasy Flight. For a great big massive game, probably Hasbro. For a euro-styled game, Mayfair.
skelebone: I'd probably pitch to Cheapass, since that's all my prototype would be worth. I would love to have it published by Goldsieber, just so I could have my name in the box at the top. Or alea, so I would be on the number on the spine.
snoozefest: depends on the type of game
Lord_Prussian: My own
chaddyboy_2000: Probably to the garbage.
jttm: All of 'em
ValJor: I would love to win the lottery and be able to throw a million dollars on a board gaming company myself. I would edit all my prototypes plus all my friends' prototypes as well
sourwyrm: whoever made age of napoleon, those game components are snazzy
Spielfreak: It depends on the type of game.
CortexBomb: Hans
CDRodeffer: That entirely depends upon the type of game and the kind of games that company produces. If I had a war game, I might pitch it to GMT. If I had a kid's game, maybe Haba or Zoch. If I had a light fun card game, maybe Amigo. See, "It Depends" is a valid answer.
