¿Question #4072?
puffinge: Why have so many people high up on the questions asked list stopped asking questions?

Skwib: Picked off by predators.
pwilz: Yeah, that's too bad
Hector Vortac: ironic, isn't it?
CardboardCultist: Burnout. Flooding. Desensitization. Loss of novelty. So many words for it.
kathleenryan: They are resting on their laurels. . . . I know, its better than resting on Uranus.
danalinfield: there are only so many questions. Also I just finished reading the Internet.
Blott: They're trying to give me time to catch up.
Interrogative: Perhaps it is because they heard the beat of some different drummer. You know the ones...the ones that don't smash in your head with their drumsticks because they find your questions displeasing, but rather just ignore them and move on. Oh the hell with those homicidal drummer maniacs, devil take them immediately if not sooner, damn their eyes, etc. blabbity blab blah humfuggers.
Dragonbear82: They think they are dethronable and that no one will overtake them on the list.
Zebu_Alex: They have run out
Woelf: They ran out
theredwagoneer: Maybe they found all the answers.
krainer: Carpal-tunnel syndrome.
scriptorum: Please read the New York Times' article, "Allure of GeekQuestions Discovered To Wane OverTime."
kapnkrunch: They're finding their own answers
DHEK: They've reached burnout, got bored and moved on to other things, or are just feeling too secure in their position.
hacksword: They got bored?
Butterbane: they've grown comfortable and complacent thinking that no one will ever join them or excel.
william_henshaw: they have used up their idiocy quotient
aleo09: almost seems impossible
monkeyrobot: Yeah... Why?
nerotora: They feel victims to the bgg-qustion-asker serial killer
POvidiusNaso: Same reason all the answerers quit.
vampywife: maybe they've run out of clever things to ask.
seppo21: Boredom. Poor quality questions.
Geosmores: That is a very good question
Chris Page: Specialization and division of labor are traits that emerge as communities grow larger, into virtual cities.
GrimJester: you've defeated them
hob69: Maybe they have all the answers.
Leo-T: maybe they finally learned what they wanted to know
prolifekilledmywife: Moment of clarity?
WalkerRedEye: carpol tunnel syndrome?
dmomo: Ran out of 'em
nibuen: cause they get tired of it
Admiral Fisher: I wish that you would!
TaliaIsabelle: Boredom
brainrob: Boredom
Zaar: they reached "nirvana"
WatchmanX2000: they figured out how dull this really is
jasta6: Alien's abducted them.....
mrspank: No idea.
Loquutus: This must be old, cuz you and I haven't stopped.
confuse_a_cat: They have run out of good questions and dislike reading the response of "inane" to every question they ask.
bigbadsteve: did they get tired of the insults?
LemonyFresh: they've achieved all they've wanted to achieve
Tushratta: They have achieved their personal goals and moved on with their lives.
AbeLincoln: because like the 7th grade sex-ed teacher used to say when no one would ask questions during the ask questions section 'well, i guess everyone knows everything there is'
BaSL: Competition was getting boring; with some changes in the top50, CNNWorldSports will start covering it again
skrutsch: I don't know.
shebby: they got bored by them?
DaGen: because they became all knowing
acetate3: Maybe they realized that this is a waste of time.
Recneps: The universe is indeed filled with mysteries...
djlg: Its finally dawned on them that its boring.
slapdash: wouldn't you?
puffinge: Maybe they got tired of having their questions insulted?
Cavedog_pdx: They're old and tired. Me with my tortoise pace will eventually win both quantity and quality.
Lord_Prussian: Ran out of good questions to ask and aren't motivated by rankings or other vanities to keep asking inane questions.
chaddyboy_2000: They're tired of it.
CDRodeffer: It's the weekend.
MisterCranky: Because for the most part, GeekQuestions interest the same 5 people who are either in competition to answer them, or are moderating them for content. My goal has simply been to stay at the top of a list of achievement at BGG. Your motivation has been expressed elsewhere. The normal procedure seems to be find out they exist, ask and/or answer a few, and then get back to playing BOARD games, not mindless question and answer games.
skelebone: Bored, most likely.
CortexBomb: Because they finally realised the pointlessness of it all?
Spielfreak: Perhaps all the good questions have been taken?
jttm: No one else dares face the wrath of cranky
