¿Question #4136?
skelebone: Do you talk yourself through your turn, or do you tend to work it all in your head?
Limburger59: Think it through.
Ladybug3: in my head! Much more fun in there
jrp_atg: Yes.
MisterCranky: Watch this space! Some day I may answer more appropriately.
Felimid: A little of both (and depends on who the other player(s) are).
Septic: I talk, but it appears like I'm talking to everyone at the table, you know, being social. Everything else is going on in my head.
lacxox: It depends, what kind of game it is. Mostly I do it in my head.
Abreu: A little bit of both
ZeroZilla: If I notice something I missed in my planning, I usually have to talk that out. Most all planning is 'in my head', though.
cgund: Hmm. I may murmur but mostly in my head.
jdberry: Depends how seriously I'm taking the game.
AMorgan: in my head
Tall_Walt: Yes.
darcyj2: That totally depends on the game.
DHEK: I work it all in my head.
Chad Jensen: yes
WalkerRedEye: i just to tend wing things on the fly
Spinch: I'm always mumbling like some crazy person through my turns.
Leo-T: a little of both
MightyMike: it's all in your head, one way or the other :-)
thirtyseven: Talk, though sometimes it's only in my head. If that makes sense.
jeanvabu: All in my head though it usually never works out
PsyJam: I always try to plan ahead so I don't talk out loud and give away my plans.
Guuthulhu: In my head.
anonInternetName: head
greglios: Work it all in my head. Can't give away the thought processes that go into your decision. Gives too much away.
jll1024: The latter.
Ripkil: Silently unless all players are trying to learn the game and that sort of thing fits the game.
hoffcorp: Both methods are employed depending on the circumstances.
falloutfan: Talk it out.
hemulen: someone else's head
FrozenHoHos: I'll think out loud if it will give me some sort of advantage.
vampywife: Work it in my head, but I use hand gestures, too, sometimes.
deltabob: talk
hellsbishop: Head.
Chris Page: In my head. If I can, while other people are taking their turns.
kinetic: in my head
Helenoftroy: you are just jealous the voices don't talk to you
deacondavid: Work it out in my head.
Colors: I talk to myself throughout the game, tends to make people look at me weird, but I usally make the right decisions.
tipigi: I do some "hmms" but that's about it.
billgoode: I try my best to work it out in my head, because it annoys me a little when people talk themselves through out loud. Sometimes I can't help it though, especially in a tight game where very move counts.
Fawkes: In my head. It's more efficient that way, and you don't tell your opponents what you're up to.
POvidiusNaso: Head.
ssmooth: Usually I do the work in my head, but if people are getting impatient and I want to let them know progress is being made, I may talk it. Also there are many games where I describe what I'm doing as a courtesy to the other players, who are going to want to know anyway (and who can keep track of whether I'm observing all the correct protocols).
scriptorum: Both.
ZombyDawg: In my head. Security.
brainrob: The voices in my head generally help me
GI Joe: Work it in my head.
djlg: All in the head.
CherryPie: In my head :-)
Null Signature: i talk myself through my head, then work it all out on my turn.
e.c.r.: head
Karlsen: In my head
mrbeankc: In my head
skrutsch: depends on the game, my mood, the atmosphere, etc.
Debate: head
jttm: Head. If I talk aloud, sometimes the other voices in my head slip out.
Lord_Prussian: I've been known to do both. Probably talk if I'm looking for a reaction from somebody.
CortexBomb: I try not to talk to myself too much while gaming, but it happens
CDRodeffer: In my head.
CharlieWonka: In my head although I have been known to analyse what my opponent may have out loud
chaddyboy_2000: I think I do both sometimes.
Dave: Usually in my head. I've experienced too many painful incidents where one player will verbally work thru all of their options and implications.
Spielfreak: It's all in my head -- I'm no Ben.
skelebone: I'll talk myself through a little bit of my turn, especially counting down action points.
