¿Question #4337?
Randy Cox: Let's design a game together--post your rule(s) and design comments here and we'll see what Frankenstein's Monster Game emerges.
ptyx: on each turn you have 50% chance of dying, the last one to stay alive is the winner
Durk: Reverse deckbuilder, buy cards to put into other people's decks.
dafrca: Roll a Die, on any number I win.
spacerx: Everyone secretly predicts who will win and bets points on it.
the manatee: If you roll doubles, roll again.
Narlgoth: That would be an essay of an answer if I took it seriously. Instead I'm going to contribute the words "Cthulhu Mythos" and "Doughnuts". I think there should be more of both in games.
Woelf: All movement is vector-based on three axes (X, Y, and Z). The maximum distance a player can travel in a given movement is defined by a 3d8 roll against a reference table.
Chris Page: Rule 42: All persons more than a mile high to leave the court.
andreww: No one playing the game is allowed to look at the board or their own cards or touch any components. They may not inquire about the rules or the state of the game. They may not make any suggestion as to how their color/side should be played. Non-players will be recruited for each color/side to set up the game, review the positions turn by turn, make the choices and execute the plays.
Daezee: When you are about to win you need to utter the phrase "That's all folks!" or you are out of the game, and someone else will win.
Spleen: If you roll an 8, you have 20 seconds to light your own fart, or you must take a drink.
WatchmanX2000: I doubt you're worth the effort.
ZeroZilla: All players must use dice from a common pool of identical type for each action requiring dice. Additionally, the pools should be mixed (stirred, shaken, what have you) after each round so that no dice can be favored for high or low rolling. At no time should any player keep his/her own dice seperate from the common pool.
TrimChris: Ok.
Angry Dragon: Any Card item or action in the game can be sold or traded.
DKahnt: ... hmmm... Rule: the person to your right rolls dice, you and they both move simultaniously... you roll, and the person to your left does the same thing.... etc
enfanta: Everyone trade places (but not hands/resources/whathaveyou) with the person on the left.
DHEK: The game must use meeples.
biggdork: no
zman44: After you're opponent wins the game, giggle rapidly. See what happens.
POvidiusNaso: Rule #74a: When the monster crashes through the tavern, each player in the tavern must make a die roll for Undergarment Dryness. All players who fail their rolls have a -1 movement and -2 charisma.
erikk: If your action card has three or more green tokens attached, exhaust two and randomly destroy one of your opponent's location cards if said opponent has fewer than 8 purple tokens.
purvisa: The board is topographically spherical
GrimJester: During a turn, a player has three action points to manipulate the ingredient columns, trying to get the exact set of three ingredients he is looking for either on top of a single column or on three adjacent columns.
MaksimSmelchak: No thanks. Good luck!
aramis: Completing one's own goal is 3 VP before others, or 2 after. Completing someone elses is 1 point before they do, 0 after.
JonBen: Anytime a player is about to win, she gets -1 victory point.
Cromaa: OK
MisterCranky: The third turn ends as soon as the sun comes up for the eighth consecutive time.
Hoju: empty beers bottles are used as counters
hellsbishop: Take a drink everytime someone uses an expletive.
brainrob: During the Chinese revolution phase, roll the 14 sided die and consult table 13.5.4b
RyanMC: Use Power the game as your base model....then it will suck...mix in Hoity Toity to totally ruin it
mrspank: Tile laying with some bluffing.
bigbadsteve: all movement takes place in hexes. from here on, all hexes will be refered to as squares
scriptorum: When someone draws a Tichu Card he may move the Derk figure to a different area on the board. No other games may be played until someone else plays an Aldie.
Desmondloki: If doubles are rolled, all players must drink.
skrutsch: Place the board near the edge of the table.
djlg: Place the board in the middle of the table before attaching the electric chainsaw.
Yollege: The player to the left runs around the room 3 times clockwise.
GrandpaDave: Okay
Cavedog_pdx: In the first round the players will simultaneously choose their first round action of either A) sex B) drugs or C) rock&roll.
jellospike: A player cannot pass though a door if an opposing player stands in the way.
heli: Each player has a unique power.
jttm: If player is injured, she must remove an article of clothing (from largest to smallest)
skelebone: Theme : Jewel Thievery
Lord_Prussian: A roll of a 1 or a 2 will score a hit.
chaddyboy_2000: I think it should have goats with lasers and involve some kind of "Eupharian Kink" mechanic.
puffinge: That, ladies and gentlemen was the South Carolina input. The lasers and heads are collectible. If a pig falls off the board, he comes back for 3 turns without a laser.
CDRodeffer: Sounds like a real winner there. OK, start with two pigs on a chessboard, and they're each equipped with a laser and a GIANT ROBOT FIST! Each turn, they get five movement points, or they can repair or shoot or swing the fist. You program your movements and try to knock out the opposing pig. What do you say? Great game idea, huh?
Randy Cox: There are no role playing or negotiation elements to this game. Players are not allowed to directly inflict damage on or hinder the advancement of opponents.
