¿Question #4475?
Lord_Prussian: Do you like to travel? Where have you particularly enjoyed traveling and tell us a little bit about it.

ocdspectrum: Yes - loved seeing some of the historical and architectural areas in Italy, Turkey and a few other places. Would like to see more natural wonders as well - been to the Great Barrier Reef and want to go back with my kids.
Woelf: I like seeing new/different places but dislike the actual act of travelling, especially with children involved.
BOBBYCAN: You want a travel guide geekanswer? No time, moving on.
tankexmortis: Yes, your mom, too humid.
Ryan_Paton: I have been all over the US, Canada, England and Australia... I loved the North of England! There is so much history there.... and Australia once you get away from Sidney is wonderful... the smaller the town the better over there....
Felimid: Yes. The Pacific NW. Feels more like home to me than anywhere else in the world.
Spirit of 70: No.
The Unbeliever: 42
desmodus: Good question. Just have a look on my geeklist: Places where I've been to in the last 12 months!
jessitron: Cyprus was lovely. I stopped for half a night in Athens on a layover, and that was bizarre. I still dream about that freaky elevator with no door.
anarchy: Yes. I spent some time in Singapore and really had a nice time. Very clean, cheap taxis, lots to see and the food was amazing.
nanami: No. I haven't even left my country.
kathleenryan: Yes, very much. Everywhere I've been. Best trips were to e. Africa-Kenya and Tanzania, and Hawaii. My husband and I have driven cross country twice. I've also been to western Europe: Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, The Netherlands, England. I've been to all the main island of Hawaii; the Big Island, Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and Molokai. I've seen the green and black sand beaches on the Big Island which were very beautiful. Life is an adventure. I try to see as much of the world as I can. I'd still like to see the Taj Mahal in Agra, India.
ZeroZilla: I enjoy travelling, but don't do it often. Nor do I really have the desire to travel all that often, to be honest. One trip that I will always remember was to the Sedona area of Arizona. In particular Wet Beaver Creek Wilderness Area. The area is protected, and not even bicycles are allowed in. In fact, the only machines that can be brought into the Wilderness Area there are camp-stoves. The red-rock hills and canyons there, and all of the pools of water make for some breathtaking countryside... and it's far enough out that the night sky makes for a glorious and awe-inspiring show.
Golux: Not really... allthough I have traveled a lot.
alcbkr: again ... forum!
bwechner: No. I travelled the world on and off for decade. Unique and wonderful experience and loved it. But it's enough. I feel like a homebody now ;-).
PhysicsMathandMe: I've stayed on the East Coast all my life, but I have gone across Boston on a vacation, to see the historical sites and downtown hustle and bustle. Hoping to go to Washington, D.C. with the family this summer!
kapnkrunch: No
matthan: I went to the mall the other day. I bought a t-shirt.
DHEK: Not so much the travellingitself, but the seeing new places and experiencing new things parts. Anything new and fun is enjoyable to me, not just one specific place.
Butterbane: I love travel! I spent a month in Germany!! Fantastic history! Fantastic views! Almost didn't return to the USA!
aleo09: yes. alaska. beautiful. pristine. huge.
Geosmores: Yes, really never been to a place i did not like. Everyplace has new and interesting things to do and see.
Leo-T: LOVE to travel. Love the South Pacific - the Fiji Islands are beautiful and offer some great diving.
scriptorum: Santa Fe, New Mexico. I went there last year with my girlfriend for New Years. The food was delicious, it really turned me onto southwestern grub. Pretty mountains, too.
bigbadsteve: its okay. colorado was fun
heavymetalhamster: I am no longer allowed out of my cell, although I did go to the shops once. That was nice.
Dorque: Nope.
Cromaa: Hate travelling.
falloutfan: Cuba. I went there back in the eighties, to Guantanamo Bay. I loved the weather and being so close to the ocean all of the time. Some rolly hills, scrubby trees, hundreds of hermit crabs walking around - clacking their claws like mad in the river beds. It was almost surreal
vampywife: I love travelling. All of Europe is wonderful, it's so hard to pick just one place.
MaksimSmelchak: Yes, very much so. I really enjoyed Israel, Russia, the Ukraine and the rest of Eastern Europe.
Nekura: Yes. I'm pretty fond of Europe and Japan. I once went to Stonehenge when it was 1 degree above freezing and raining. It was totally worth it.
drummermark: Switzerland, beautiful country, much to do and see.
Helenoftroy: My senior year of high school with my german class, I went to tour Europe. We went to Italy, Austria, Germany, and Switerland. My junior year with a youth all star band, I marched in a New Year's parade in Paris.
Mordachai: Well, not really. But I have been to Japan and I long to go there again. I recommend any and all of you to go there at least once!
Loquutus: Japan was pretty cool. Everyone is short.
LemonyFresh: Not really. I'd rather have the stuff come to me.
skrutsch: Not really. My husband and I just got back from a pleasant trip to Niagara Falls and Fallingwater. We went to a great game store in St. Catharines, Ontario.
chrisisapimp: i dont care where i travel 2 as long as there is some sexy girls there
jellospike: I'm more of a stay-at-home kinda guy
GeminiWeb: Its okay but not so easy with a family (3 young boys)
ssmooth: Sure. Paris, Hawaii, Martinique, Chicago, San Francisco, New Orleans, London and New York have all treated me very nicely.
GrandpaDave: Yes. Spain. It kicks ass.
dietevil: I *love* traveling and am always happy to wax on at length about it. My favorite places are Jamaica, Costa Rica, England, Spain, and Germany. Cozumel is pretty great too. I'm biased towards places I can scuba dive, places that are laid back, and places where I speak the language. So I haven't gone to France.
javelin98: Gettysburg. But that's because I'm a huge history buff.
MochaKimono: I've moved twelve times in my fifteen-year lifespan from coast to coast and up and down.
GuyHill: not really, but if i have to, far away (I like New Zealand)
Lord_Prussian: Yes, lots of places. This question seems more annoying now that I am answering it than when I asked it.
CDRodeffer: Yes. I enjoyed a delightful honeymoon on Prince Edward Island.
chaddyboy_2000: Yeah, I like travelling. I went to Germany once, but it was before I was interested in games.
skelebone: I do like to travel, though I haven't had the opportunity lately. I loved traveling in Europe on the times that I have been there, and I would love to go back someday soon.
jttm: When I'm feeling particularly adventurous, instead of heading to my local comics store, I walk all the way to the park. There's not much to see there, but occassionally, I find a nice leaf for my collection.
puffinge: I certainly like to visit other places but I hate the act of travelling, especially if I have to do the driving.
CortexBomb: Yes, I try to get out of state several times a year. My favourite place to visit thus far has been Pennsylvania, which I make a point of visiting at least once a year. I think I'm mainly interested in it because of the mountainous landscape mixed with the industrial / urban feel that I love in rust belt cities
