¿Question #4484?
Lord_Prussian: What is your favorite Friendly Local Game Store (FLGS)? Tell us where it is and why you like it.

ocdspectrum: Boardlandia, but it's 90 minutes away. We have a comic shop in town but it doesn't have a good selection of games.
Hms_indefatigable: Tie between miniature market and coolstuffinc
pricero1: Nothing local I'm afraid, so e-business is the way for me.
srturtle: It used to be Geeks and Gamers in Meredith, NH, owned by fellow BBGer and friend FuzzySilk. Sadly it has long since closed. Toy City here in Keene, NH has a great selection of games (pretty much one whole side of an aisle) but nowhere to really sit and play. Comic Boom also here in Keene has a few games, too.
Woelf: Gnome Games in Green Bay (technically Ashwaubenon, I think), WI. It's relatively close to where I live, the staff is friendly, and their selection is pretty good.
kingofthegrill: Game night games in salt lake city. They know their stuff
jdberry: The Game Parlor in Chantilly, VA. Great selection and they have ample (most of the time) gaming space.
tankexmortis: Don't have one. Even the place my game group meets at is just a Warhammer store with a few board games.
theredwagoneer: Pandemonium in Central Square. You can actually play there.
zemus: 'playin' games', london, an alladins cave thats why
Blott: Evolution Games. It is in Lansing Michigan and I like it because it's the only one in my area.
Rina: Shire Games - Stoke on Trent. Nick & Sue the owners are so down to earth and helpful. Unlike some shops i have been to.
samidha: I... don't like any of the local ones I've got that much, although Pandemonium is my favorite of the ones we have. It has a new location with a basement bigger than God which is used for game space, and said space is wheelchair accessible which is a must for me.
2amp: none near me
arkestra: The Games Keep in Westchester, PA. It always has something new to steal my money away :)
IcemanCU: Endgame, Oakland, CA. Great selection, awesome store setup, good gaming nights, friendly and knowledgeable staff.
DHEK: It's a boardgame cafe near where I live. For someone like me who hasn't had the chance to play many different kinds of games it's a great opportunity to try out lots of stuff without buying the games myself.
aleo09: don';t have one around here.
PopeBrain: The Source Comics and Games on Larpenteur and Snelling north of St. Paul, MN. The biggest store I've been to just packed with gaming goodness.
Beelzebub: The Game Depot - Tempe, Arizona, USA
pitferret: Outer Planes, because it's the ONLY game store within an hour of here.
ZiggyZambo: Game preserve, Indianapolis
Russ G.: Out of business. But for 20 years, it was Star Realm in Omaha, Nebraska.
greglios: Leisure Games on Ballards Lane, North London. It's got a great selection and I get 10% off thanks to being a member of Finchley Games Club. Marvellous!
POvidiusNaso: Pegasus Games. Great selection, they give 10% off the Madison Board Gamers, friendly owner, and they host a game session every Sunday. In Madison.
Cromaa: About 2 blocks from my house. I didn't say I liked it.
MisterCranky: No. I'd rather discuss the Gumby Colorforms set. Why are there no questions about that?
vetinari7878: Stratagemma, in Via dei Servi, is my favorite FLGS here in Florence.
mrbeankc: Tabletop in Overland Park KS, Phil the owner is a great guy.
jasta6: Old Guard Hobbies, MI.... They are the best people and will try to get you the stuff you want. Also if they get or see stuff you may like they will get it just incase you want it!
confuse_a_cat: Does anyone know of a FLGS in the Central Illinois area? If I could find one, it would probably be my favorite.
brainrob: Black Lion Games - cos it's the only one in Edinburgh
Tennantgamer: I don't have one right now (none of them are local anymore) it's really sad. :(
_Kael_: The Joker in Utrecht (Netherlands). Owners were _real_ gamers before they started. And still are. Space in shop to play. Shop open for play till 02:00 in weekends, I've heard.
Loquutus: No flgs in Philly. *tear*
locusshifter: Illusions, Salisbury, MD...the ower hooks me up
Payne: None close by.
dietevil: Great Hall Games and Dragon's Lair in Austin, TX - both have great staff, places to play in the store and a great selection
ssmooth: Mine is out of business now.
davebo: The Name Of The Game in Camarillo, CA. Decent stock, if they don't have it they'll get it, and the owner (Mondo) is actually outgoing (unique for FLGS).
skrutsch: Games Galore in Cary, NC. The owner is friendly. They have a good selection of Euro Games.
Domokun: Tabletop Game and Hobby - Lenexa, KS. An FLGS run like a real store, clean, nice knowledgable staff, great stock, big game room, huge variety of games always going on.
djlg: www.games.unhalfbricking.com (Yes he's online, but he's local too.) He's cheap (for Australia).
Dave: Rainy Day Games, in Aloha, Oregon. Nearby, great location, good service & selection, owners are great guys, good events. I hope it's still around when my daughter reaches gamer age.
chaddyboy_2000: Tabletop Games, because they host the gaming group that I play in.
skelebone: I don't know of a good FLGS around here... Tabletop Games in Lenexa has weekly game nights, but I never make it out that way because of my work schedule. My local shops are primarily RPG and Miniatures, respectively.
jttm: About 4 blocks up. I like it because its right next to the nudie store.
Spielfreak: The GameKeeper, located in the Arcade in Providence. It's run be Larry Whelan and Dave Hurd, who are folks behind Face-to-Face Games.
CDRodeffer: Well, it used to be the Underworld, but they're going under. So I'm hoping that Phoenix, Fun4All and Ryders will pick up the slack.
CortexBomb: Fanfare, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. It's on S. Westnedge Ave. in the Chinese place / Big Lots complex. Great store mainly because they give a blanket 20% discount on board games, and stock a lot of used video games and DVDs, as well as other random stuff. I've shopped there for ages.
Lord_Prussian: Gauntlet Games. It's in Lincoln, Nebraska and supports the local gaming community well by giving a place to play games and organize league play and such.
