¿Question #4558?
Cavedog_pdx: What is your all time favorite classical chorus? O Fortuna from Carmina Burana? Hallelujah chorus from Handel's Messiah? Ode to Joy from Beethoven's 9th? Or something else?

Blazur: Anything Beethoven.
arkibet: I assume you're talking about something from a larger work. It would have to be the Mozart Requiem with "QUANDO TREMOR EST FUTURUS! Dies Irae, Dies Illa!" Peter Lutkin's "Lord Bless You and Keep You" is still the piece of music that I think it perfect. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QB2FVlaPM-o
Woelf: O Fortuna is great
Skwib: O Farthing Thine Puffy Scrotumah Solo Bridgiah. We sing it every Arbor Day.
purplewurple: Ode to Joy is high on the list.
Felimid: Mozart's Requiem and Bach's St. Matthew Passion.
Occupy Boardwalk: Bib Fortuna from Jabba's Palace. "He is no Jedi..."
sunchaser32: Ode to Joy
Haschim: Ode to Joy.
MisterCranky: I like playing games with women. I like it so much, that this answer will repeat itself a few hundred times.
dblayton: I enjoy Bacarolle from "Les contes d'Hoffmann" by Offenbach
Spirit of 70: The Ode to Joy.
daveroswell: Black gospel singers every time over any of that...
quardlepleen: In a gadda da vida.
gantrell: handel's
DKahnt: Carmina Bura of course!!!
ZeroZilla: 'I Bewail the Wounds of Fate', also from Carmina Burana (by Orff) I like this less-famous, but still recognizeable tune much more than 'O Fortuna'. It's driving tone is much more evocative of actual struggle than is the (to me) oppressive dirge of 'Fortuna'.
POvidiusNaso: Ode to Joy.
TeknoMerk: Hallelujah from Handel's Messiah
jredd: I'm going to go with Ode to Joy.
DHEK: I can't recognize them from their names, but I might be able to say if I heard them.
Der Ubermolch: I don't listen to that crap.
Nuanda: Handel's Hallelujah is my favourite. Definitely.
Benzebub: The Hallelujah chorus is really good, but so too is Ode to Joy...
aleo09: no fav.
seppo21: I'll go with Ode to Joy
ZiggyZambo: Ode to Joy... but I had to pick one of your three...
2amp: Ode to joy. reminds me of "we love the presindent" from Civ
Cut & Space: o fortuna
PsyJam: Ode to Joy is my favourite.. and I blame 'A Clockwork Orange' for that.
Leo-T: Ode to Joy - just a very catchy tune
ellephai: I like some of them, but am too ignorant to have a favorite.
ZombyDawg: Beethoven's 9th ROCKS!
rawdawg: none
Beelzebub: O Fortuna as used in the Excalibur soundtrack
vampywife: i've never really thought about it. i'm kind of fond of both the Hallelujah chorus and the Ode to Joy.
herman_the_german: Anvil Chorus
OzGamer: Dier Irae from Mozart's Requiem maybe...or not...
jasta6: ?
Helenoftroy: Handels's Messiah
dietevil: Yism'chu from Salamone di Rossi
Grimwold: Wake me up inside / Call my name and save me from the dark / Bid my blood to run / Before I come undone / Save me from the nothing I've become
mrbeankc: Beethoven's 5th
Quest22: O Fortuna
_Kael_: chorus? Does "This Jesus Must Die" from Jesus Christ Superstar qualify?
shizzane: n/a
brainrob: Ode to Joy (wasn't it by Schiller and Beethoven "sampled" it?)
scriptorum: I prefer modern choral music, such as Morten Lauridsen (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000006OF1).
GuyHill: ode to joy
djlg: Hallelujah chorus is pretty good, but I'll go with anything that makes my spine tingle.
motoyugota: Hallelujah chorus us pretty damn sweet
ssmooth: Never really thought about trying to pick an "all time favorite." "Hallelujah" is good, and so is "And the Glory of the Lord" from the Messiah.
jttm: Something else.
xlorp: Verdi's Requiem (Dies Irae)
Cavedog_pdx: Dies Irae from the Berlioz Requiem.
heli: the scary parts of either the Mozart or Verdi requiems...
CDRodeffer: I like all three of these.
sos1: Probably something from Mose by Rossini
skelebone: O Fortuna is good.
chaddyboy_2000: Uhhhh, yeah.
Lord_Prussian: I don't have one.
Spielfreak: Ode to Joy. We used it as our processional at our wedding.
