¿Question #4809?
puffinge: What are the funniest misheard song lyrics you have experienced? Geez that wording sucked.
purplewurple: Comintern / common tern
ocdspectrum: For about 20 years, I thought the song Werewolf of London was actually Werewolf Thunder.
The Monstrous Jake: "God Stamped Gravy" ("Constant Craving") by k.d. lang
Caerid: Don't fear the refer instead of don't fear the reaper.
evilboy4fr: Cannot play with matches! (for Iron Maiden's "Can I Play With Madness")
MisterCranky: Constantinople
Hida Mann: Slow Motion Walter the Fire Engine Guy still makes me laugh...
Woelf: "You need Kool-Aid, baby I got Kool-Aid..." -- Led Zeppelin, 'Whole Lotta Love'
ssmooth: Gladly the Cross-Eyed Bear
kathleenryan: Bee Gees: in their "How Deep is Your Love," song Correct: And you come to me on a "summer breeze." I heard And you come to me on a "submarine." Michael Jackson's, "Billy Jean" song. Correct: Billy Jean is "not my lover"; I heard: Billy Jean is "at my door."
MamaRat: Young MC's "Bust A Move": Some girls are sadistic, much too realistic.
Skwib: For "Brick House", I always here, "She's mighty might-ay!! She's built like a monkey massage!!" I have no idea what the real lyrics are, or how one could possibly be built like a monkey massage.
Wabete: Stanley Steamer instead of Sad Sweet Dreamer
ZeroZilla: Maybe it's just me, but I got a kick out of my mishearing of the Firefly theme song. The line is "Burn the land, and boil the sea; you can't take the sky from me." I heard 'boil the seed', and I thought Joss was being really deep. Like, if you boiled all the seeds, you couldn't go back and re-plant the land, after it was burned. The seeds'd be ruined!
tyler7580: m m m my scrotum or my Sharaona. Either way.
vandemonium: Scuse me while I kiss Alex the seal, I tell you to end your life!
Frubgarde: At one point in the song "True As Steel" by Warlock I am sure I hear the phrase "Rape your tree".
jdberry: Maxwell Jump -- Van Halen's "Jump".
Thegreatrob: blinded by the light, wrapped up like a douche' in the firey light??
Wibblenut: 'The Grim Poodle Basher on the 45' song (apparently its a brim full of asher or something?)
DHEK: There are actually 2 or 3 that I've actually misheard (and thought it was what I heard until I found out it wasn't), but I can't seem to remember them now... Hmmm...
tipigi: Jimi Hendrix - Purple Haze - "Excuse me, while I kiss this guy".
ZiggyZambo: yes it did
TheArchAngel: Too many to chose just one
Leo-T: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road - it wasn't until I saw the lyrics in print that I was convinced he really said horny-backed toad.
TheDS: Probably Bathroom on the Right, or Kiss this Guy. You can go to www.kissthisguy.com to find a BOATLOAD of misheard song lyrics.
duLac956: "I don't want the world; I just want your hat."
leslauber: CCR: "There's a bathroom on the right."
scriptorum: None of the song lyrics I misheard were funny.
MaksimSmelchak: Obnoxious question. Please ask better questions.
bigbadsteve: dont lick my spaghetti pants. it was actually theres a lady whos sure all that glitters is gold
Nandalfnarcoleptic: only one that springs to mind: offspring, where oneof their songs says 'dont debate', thought it said 'so dont eat paint'..got laughed at for years
Helenoftroy: Excuse me while I kiss "this guy"/ "the sky"
dmomo: Both from the same friend: Soviets, Threaten No More... (erred from "Don't Tread On Me", by Metallica) and Jesus was a Train Whistle (erred from "Sober", by Tool)
SisyphusX: "Down on the corner, out in the street, where the PORK BOYS are playin' - feel the music, tap your feet."
scribidinus: Bingo Jeff left the light on.
jasta6: enagadadavida baby.... It was suppose to be (in the garden of Eden baby) but the lead singer was so stoned it came out as we know it today!
RyanMC: Soy un perdador?
bekudno: Chumbawumba: I get knocked down, by an elephant, I'll never own a cheap guitar, I got no towels, but I got underpants, they're never gonna give me towels... Piss in the miiicrowave, piss in the miiicrowave...
POvidiusNaso: I've had countless of my own, but they're not funny, just incomprehensible. Ozzy used to think that Jimi Hendrix sang, "Excuse me, while I kiss this guy." That's pretty funny.
erli: "I see the BATHROOM arising. I see trouble on the way. I see earthquakes and lightnin'. I see bad times today. Don't go around tonight, well, it's bound to take you live. There's a BATHROOM ON THE RIGHT." CCR's Bathroom Rising (more commonly known as "Bad Moon Rising"). I always wondered why my dad cracked up whenever I sang that song.
puffinge: "sell donuts at my door" in Green Day's When I Come Around instead of "so don't knock down my door" and "an elite Arcadian" instead of "an illegal alien" in illegal alien by Genesis
jttm: "Dear I fear your face is a problem." No Doubt. Don't Speak
chaddyboy_2000: Elephants yeah!
skelebone: I can't recall.
Lord_Prussian: I thought I heard the word constipated once
CDRodeffer: In Benny & the Jets, "She's got electric boobs."
heli: One amusing mondegreen is instead of "She's got a ticket to ride": "she's gotta chicken tonight."
