¿Question #4933?
[Deleted user]: [deleted question]

Zebu_Alex: just some
ergh99: No
ricardofo: My mind was completely confused right now. Can you tell me what to do under this circumstances?
pwilz: We've got nothing better to do than watch TV and have a couple of brews. Don't talk about anything else! We don't want to know! We're dedicated to our favorite (UK favourite) shows!
DeePee: Of course people are allowed to tell me what to do, but it doesn't mean I have to do it.
Hendal: no, depends on the person and circumstances
2amp: yes
vandemonium: People should be free to tell you anything and you should be free to tell them where to stick it, in response.
Megadev: People can tell me whatever they want, but it doesn't mean I'll blindly follow their advice.
EYE of NiGHT: I think that there is a role for society, for the group to place peer pressure on others to conform to a group standard. It's just that that standard is constantly changing. So, no to 'any', yes to some, but not the current ones.
wwscrispin: some people in some circumstances.
sffh: I think anyone can say anything and it's up to you, what you'll do
DHEK: I think people are free to say whatever whenever, as it is their right to free speech, but similarly you are free to do whatever you want regardless of what others say.
Eric Haas: Anybody can tell me what to do. Getting me to listen is the hard part.
dsmeyer: no
iamalias: Yes, and Yes. But it depends on the circumstance.
jeffwolfe: They should be allowed to tell you, and you should be free to ignore them.
scriptorum: People should be allowed to tell me what to do. I should be allowed to ignore them, say la la la la, and do something else. Also, I should be allowed to shut the door and call the police to have them removed if they don't leave my front stoop.
bigbadsteve: people like to tell others what to do regardless
MJSchuelke: It's the other way around -- there are very few circumstances under which I'd allow other to tell me what to do.
FrozenHoHos: Ignore them.
heli: Dolo's answer makes sense.
vampywife: i think people should be able to make their own mistakes, unless they are really horrible mistakes
miyazakigrognard: The phraseology of this question belies an inability to understand any answer I could possibly give.
doghouse724: People are always welcome to tell me what to do. I just don't always listen.
Helenoftroy: or there are those people who believe they have the right to tell you their "advice" about every situation, every little choice you have . . . and exactly what choice to make and why it is better then the one you made or will make.
Shotmagnet: isn't answering this allowing you to tell me what to do? OH NO!!!
WatchmanX2000: I figure I should be able to tell anyone to do anything I want to.
Loquutus: the latter?
brainrob: Depends on circumstances
skrutsch: I'm sorry. I confused. You should rephrase your question. (Get it?)
djlg: Yeah, the latter. If that's OK with you.
MisterCranky: It occurs to me as I race to the top of the "answered" column that I will have to answer all my own questions. What a drag.
puffinge: the second thing
POvidiusNaso: People should be allowed to tell others what to do so long as the others hear what they want to hear and were going to do it anyway. That way all such empowerment would be but a sham.
skelebone: Only under some circumstances.
Lord_Prussian: Yes there are I suppose
chaddyboy_2000: I think there are just some circumstances.
jttm: Wow... you lost me at 'Do'...
CDRodeffer: Not everyone has the right to suggest what anyone else should do. But there are some circumstances when it makes sense, like parents with children or prison guards with prisoners.
