¿Question #597?
ynnen: What game offers the greatest temptation to "cheat" to win -- either for yourself or other gamers?
RealGuest: Any game you're playing for real money
Woelf: Monopoly if you're the banker.
TimarkP: Bohnanza. It's so easy to change the order of the cards in your hand.
Zyankalium: Video/PC-Games in Singleplayermode... If you just want to know the full storyline will go on, but failed due to difficulty level
Sandy Petersen: Twilight Imperium
beerbear: Monopoly is king here. You get a bunch of gloating sons of biscuits taking your money every monotonous turn and are in charge of the bank....can be tempting.
DasViktor: I played "Pirates of the Spanish Main" where there was some cheating. Not so much cheating as people intentionally being lax in their measurements. Gets old very fast.
Nikku: Block games
Der Ubermolch: For me it's solitaire games, which is kind of sad, come to think of it.
daveroswell: Life
vandemonium: The lottery.
Randy Cox: Probably Cribbage since it's built into the rules.
DKahnt: candyland... to get it over quicker
WonderLlama: The lottery, I'd think. Out of games with nothing riding on them, maybe Titan because of the length.
sdonohue: Diplomacy if you don't pass orders.
Stevve15: Diplomacy
DHEK: Hmmm... I don't know. I don't look at opportunities to cheat like this.
themagni: What? Cheating is bringing real life into a game. That's no fun.
beakermyers: None really, maybe Monopoly. But, I haven't played that since the 80s.
godfeather: Illuminati
aleo09: not sure, don't cheat
Kimo_LeFey: Any drinking game
POvidiusNaso: Pirate's Cove. Good grief, that game drives me to the edge of craziness.
ZeroZilla: As a category, games that require a lot of non-trackable accounting, or supply.
beri: Twilight Imperium, 3rd Edition.
bigbadsteve: i prefer to play by the rules
ArmHead: Uno, those 6's and 9's are pretty easily interchangeable when your opponents have a few beers in them.
arkibet: Illuminati and Euchre
vampywife: warhammer, it's so easy to nudge the pieces
Chris Page: Illuminati, the variant.
Nem Menuu: Cant really cheat when you're palying 3-5 player games all by your lonesome:/
LemonyFresh: Illuminati. Though I suppose if cheating's in the rules, it's not really cheating, is it?
confuse_a_cat: Candyland
seppo21: I can't really think of any game that makes me want to cheat more than any other game. I either am tempted to cheat or not.
Loquutus: Sadows Over Camelot
patton1138: Diplomacy, but I guess that's not exactly cheating...
nix342: Dragon's Gold....it's allowed!
ZombyDawg: Diplomacy. Or Monopoly so everyone will get mad and quit and you will never have to play it again.
puzzleme: I never cheat at games. But unfortunately have witnessed outright cheating on many, many occasions. A common one that comes to mind is in Settlers of Catan. When a "7" is rolled, some people are willing to cheat rather than discard half of their cards when they are holding more than 7.
erli: Cheat? Never!
GrandpaDave: Monopoly
mrbeankc: None comes to mind since I never think of cheating

xlorp: Busen Memo
heli: illuminati
Cavedog_pdx: Advanced Civilization
puffinge: bohnanza comes to mind, but I really don't have this temptation
Defdamesdompi: poker
bluebehir: Monopoly, probably, or "Cheat".
ThatFalafelGirl: Munchkin
Admiral Fisher: Monopoly
MisterCranky: Cheaters never prosper, so it would have to be some game that rewards non-prosperity.
2amp: D&D
Karlsen: Igloo Pop
Toxidyne: Probably Scottland yard.
4wire: Knizia's Lord of rings
snoozefest: i don't cheat ... for others - monopoly?
Nomadik: No idea
HappyProle: Illuminati and Diplomacy, because it's pseudo-legal in both. Cheating in general is just dumb.
Bearcat89: I would guess any gambling game involving real cash money.
Cromaa: Monopoly
kennyb: werewolf
isolated: Any game with a hidden mechanic. You HAVE to trust the other players not to lie.
AlorielLelyn: Illuminati, since it's allowed - if you get caught, you just have to undo what you did. It's actually written in the rules.
redhuntingcap: magic the gathering. it gets pretty annoying having to deal with some of the @#@$s who play that game.
djflippy: Dragon's Gold has condoned cheating, where you are allowed to steal treasure, if no players catch you. Otherwise, I don't like cheating.

wtrollkin2000: In union pacific the cards that end the round are an off color. Its hard not to try and notice this.
djlg: Cheat (the card game).
P.O.G.G.: can't think of one that does. Haven't cheated or been tempted to since I was a kid.
Sky Knight X: Players that claim they never cheat have never played Ambush!
