¿Question #725?
TomVasel: What current TV series should I be watching, and why?

Jrtolf: Most days I'm down to the Today Show.
0Shea0: Why
Woelf: Everyone should be watching Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. #CoulsonLives #SecretWarriors #FilledinAlloftheHugePlotHolesInAgeofUltron

SommeS: Revolution. because it is post-apocalyptic and is a great story

Spirit of 70: The new Dr. Who. They've been excellent so far.
wwwebb: Not exactly current, as it comes back in 2010...Chuck (NBC)... Excelent balance of comedy and action in off beat spy show.
kingofthegrill: IT Crowd. Cause its funny
Harkonnen13: I would recommend Battlestar Galactica if you aren't already watching it.
jpat: Mad Men, if you're not already. Great stories, great acting, and a BGGer is in the cast.
alcbkr: Life, the lead actor rocks
El Hidalgo: Avatar because my daughters say so!!!
MotUfan: Heroes, so that it will continue to be popular and not get taken off the air. At least I'll enjoy it. :0)
ilovegeeks: heros,cuz its da shiznet
DHEK: Lost. Because it's really good.
Greedo: McGlaughlin Group. Every Sunday in the US. "Bye.... BYE!"
Royalflush: Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, Battlestar Galactica, Nip/Tuck, Daily Show, Law and Order, SVU
beardedwonder: Survivor. The series has been subtly racist by choosing black contestants who fit stereotypes (with exception of most recent woman), so this season will be interesting as they group along racial lines.
diemacher: Curb Your Enthusiasm, it's very funny
monkeyrobot: Invasion, Prison Break, Surface, battlestar galactica. Because they are all pretty good.
aleo09: the unit, it's good
martybjsg: None. Play more games, avoid the non-interfacing, brain-sucking, CRT device with tuner.

janiera: Lost, cause it's a wonderful and thought provoking show
Cromaa: Commander in Chief...watch it and you'll see...it's great
interhawk: stargate, both of them, cuz they're fun
BigZaphod: Prison Break - great characters
TimAllen: Lost. because its so dammm creepy
brainrob: None spring to mind

bigbadsteve: red green is pretty amusing
jasta6: You shouldn't be watching TV. Read more!
Snappatoon: Doctor Who because you learn so much about the universe
POvidiusNaso: I like CSI (the Las Vegas one), because I like detective stories, so you "should" watch it if you like detective stories.
GuyHill: none
Culvan: Lost. It's well-written, intelligent, and rather fascinating. The only TV series I've paid any attention to in about ten years.
Jeshko: BattleStar Galactica, when the second season starts (soon). Best Sci-Fi out there right now.
Cavedog_pdx: Next time the Amazing Race is on you should get into it. It transcends television and is just plain wonderful.
sourwyrm: tv is lame
skrutsch: I don't know. What are your tastes in TV?
Lord_Prussian: None, because there not worth it
The Unbeliever: 42
kimapesan: None, you've got better things to do (play games)
Ebon Wendigo: Since "Enterprise" went off the air there is nothing that I'm currently that passionate about. MXC on Spike tv just slays me everytime I watch it, though.
davedanger: Berman & Berman- you'll know when you get there
redhuntingcap: Lost. i love the back stories. the show is really entertaining. i watch it pretty regularly and i don't watch much t.v. at all. start watching it now before it becomes bogged down in it's own convoluted mythos like the X-Files.
sbszine: It's a couple of years old, but check out Spaced. It's both the funniest and the most honest show that I have ever seen. http://www.spaced-out.org.uk/
meshuggener: Deadwood. Those c**ks*ckers are the best!
mandj2001: Scrubs......funnay chit
scriptorum: The Shield is in it's fourth (?) season and it's still a great show.
Bearcat89: Battlestar Galactica. Excellent, classic space opera with emphasis on drama and character development and not episodic drivel like most science fiction on television.

Nomadik: Quality television died years ago. Just stay tuned to THC.
jmagnini: CSI - its smart, has fun characters, and actually makes me feel like the police care about us if only in Hollywood
2amp: numb3rs. more cerebral-solve-the-mystery than shoot'em-up-police action
rawk: 70s show cause its hilarous
toulouse: The Wire (on hiatus currently between seasons 3 and 4) 'cause it's by far the best written, acted, and shot mega-series on TV.
thoia: whatever
Lemur: The Shield - great acting; riveting story lines; great camera work - and it's on cable, so there're less 'restrictions'
DenverWolf: Lost -- it's not really like anything that's been on before.
darquil: Monk. It is charming, witty, and interesting.
AlorielLelyn: Battlestar Galactica - Because it's an exceptional example of what Sci Fi should really be. Not too actiony, not too heady, not too tech-centric - Just really good. The ships follow inertial physics and fire projectiles. The most powerful weapon is still a nuke. The people are very real, and the situation is rather real - save that it is the Cylons who are attacking and space travel is commonplace.
-Johnny-: Puppets Who Kill because it's pretty darn good.
gashlycrumb: The Daily Show. Excellent satire of media and news.
dakarp: None. Save your time, and just wait for the DVDs to come out.
bucklen_uk: I'm in the UK - so for me it's Dr Who
onky: I hate series
TiNYTimIDFluffYBunnY: death to TV
gnomehome: Play games instead of watching TV
rochs77: Family Guy, because it has some cutting edge humor and we need people to watch it to keep it on the air :).
Marquardt: Lost. But watch it from the beginning, if possible.
djflippy: House, because the main character has a cutting wit. Either that or Gray's Anatomy, because one of the interns prances around in Hello Kitty undies, showing off her anatomy.
BaSL: 24 season 4, because then you would have the DVDs and you could send them to me
melissa: Lost has at least one boardgamer in it.
Ryno8: Shield. The Commish kicks butt.
puffinge: Alias, Lost or 24 but you really should start at the beginning of each. Alias is unpredictable, Lost is extremely well-written and mysterious and 24 is incredibly exciting.
RyanMC: Contender... good stuff.
Blackwind: The Denis Leary fireman show..whatever the hell that is.
lexen: none, waste of time! play a boardgame instead....
Bluenose: Phoenix Nights. Because Peter Kay is a genius: ("Cheese cake? A cake of Cheese? Is this some kind of a sick joke?")
DangerMouse: Deadwood - it's just a great combination of gritty western and Shakespear.

darthcliff: Battlestar Galactica - it rocks!
geberus: None, tv is crap, that said, Survivor is my current guilty pleasure
louiseh: Doctor Who, because it is unbelieveably good.
dietevil: You shouldn't be, there isn't anything really worth it. Now get back to your reviews, Tom!

Shakar: Law & Order, because it's pretty damn good.
CDRodeffer: The Simpsons, because it's the most realistic sit-com there is.
Denise: Turn the silly thing off and go play a game or read or talk to a real person. No one ever lies on their deathbed wishing they had watched more TV.
cad614: Why do you feel the need to watch TV in the first place?
Debate: The West Wing. Learn about how a good American administration might look like.
Flyspeck23: Battlestar Galactica. Because it's the best SciFi show since Babylon 5.
netfilterz: Lost. You can't afford to miss this, trust me.
jttm: The O.C. Olivia's so hot
MisterCranky: You should be watching Deadwood for the language.

queequeg: Mythbusters on Discovery Channel. Now THOSE guys are geeks!
Jim_P: Deadwood... it's F*ckin' great!
manowarplayer: LOST - Because JJ Abramns (sp) rocks!
CortexBomb: None of them, because none of the new tv series is really going in an unexpected, innovative direction. This is one of the main problems with tv as such: it panders to the lowest common denominator so it rarely is able to make large innovations and break new ground
