¿Question #724?
TomVasel: For you, does the extra content at www.funagaingames.com and www.gamefest.com justify their slightly higher prices?
imyourskribe: Don't know game fest, don't like fun again
Hendal: um, not sure, but no, not really - unless they still had heroscape stuff, then who cares I will buy it
Woelf: I wasn't aware that there even was "extra content" at www.funagain.com.
perrygf: Nope. High prices are always bad.
puffinge: only if I'm buying stuff I can't find elsewhere
settlerdave: No
cipiii: What extra content?
atubbs: No.
Zedsdead: Yes. That stuff ain't free. If I want to pay less I go elsewhere.
WillT: no
Polgara: no
Mousey: yes
alcazar84: no
Awfki: They have extra content?
DKahnt: yes
ellephai: I'm not sure, but the extra content at my FLGS justifies their even higher prices.
aleo09: i prefer, gamesurplus or timewellspent.
DHEK: Nope. I wouldn't buy from them unless I badly want a game that they carry exclusively.
thoia: nope
Chad Jensen: NO!
Critical Mass: initially yes. now no.
POvidiusNaso: Nope.
Geosmores: No, I get most of my info from here anyway.

purvisa: No
OzGamer: Not for Australia when they only ship FedEx
jasta6: No......... buy your games at your local hobby store.....
brainrob: No, because I'm in Scotland
Fawkes: Yes, but it's often overlooked due to the power of BGG.
Chris Page: Yes.
natemike: No
Android: No.
scriptorum: What content? What did I miss?
verandi: no no no no no no.
rawdawg: no
korppu: No
ChaosOrdeal: Yeah, no.
msaari: I might buy from them, because they seem friendly. I'm not from US, so it's not an issue.

KineticKill: Yes, but only when I really need something
sourwyrm: no
CharlieWonka: No
compluto: No
TMJJS: no
Majiken: Dunno, never been to either.
Chaz: Yes
leece: I'm not qualified to answer, not been there. Sorry.
Mike A: They sell games? Actually, yes, I think it does, but that doesn't make me buy from them.
lwheeler: higher than what?
AWildEep: No
skrutsch: sure
Musti: I can only say this for 999games (Dutch version of Rio Grande) but I'm glad that they make translations of some games. This way my kids, who don't speak German, can enjoy them as well.
Lord_Prussian: No, BGG doesn't charge for its content and is much more comprehensive. I'd rather buy at my FLGS anyway.
Bearcat89: Non.
Belash: no
Admiral Fisher: No
snoozefest: jo
2amp: never been there
batman: no
xlorp: No sirree!

apotheos: no
Wintergoblin: no
isolated: No.

Gecko23: Nope.
tragicpoet: No, they already get a little extra on the "handling"
jpact: No
jens_hoppe: Higher prices than what? Certainly not higher prices than my local bricks 'n mortar shop here in Denmark... :-/
gnomehome: No
Windopaene: Not anymore. The geek has usurped all the benefit of funagain' site. Course my in-laws live their, so I still go there and am an associate and all...
onky: No
kimbo: Does content "justify" higher prices? I've never thought of it that way. I like the extra content at both sites and would be sad to lose it, but the content of either site does not enter into my purchase decisions. I buy most games at my FLGS. When I do buy online, it's more a matter of who has what I want and then price, shipping costs and options and reputation all enter into the final decision of where I place the order.
Nightmare: No
GuyHill: no
Blackwind: no
Ludocrazy: Gamewire rocks, so yes.
Mordachai: No, since I live in Sweden.
mfrederick: Yes
sumo: no
m_r_tyler: Yes
Reloaded: nope
djlg: gamefest: Yes funagaingames: No (since BGG took off)
darthcliff: No
chaddyboy_2000: No.
raolsson: I tend to buy games from my local store or when friends go in on a large order. As such, I would say the extra content does not affect my purchasing decisions one way or another. In a general sense, I think it would. I go to the local store because I like the local store owner. I suspect if I read the content on these sites and appreciated the contribution, I would work to keep them in business.
netfilterz: Content, no. Service is a much more important factor, plus for instance how well they pack their shipments.
Eric Haas: No
djflippy: Yes, I believe so, but that doesn't mean that I never shop elsewhere.
fsumarc: yes
geberus: yep
manowarplayer: Yes
jim.brooks10: not at all....there's more content here on the Geek

funkhauser: No. I can get the content there and just order from somewhere cheaper.
ejmowrer: No.
CDRodeffer: No way.
Con Man: no, but I do check for hard to find games at funagain
ValJor: No
Denise: Yes. Funagain is where I shop though when not at my FLGS because they carry games no one else seems to have (Haba kid's games & such).
Flyspeck23: No.
skelebone: Not really. Content can be a bonus, but I don't think their content merits the difference.
ynnen: Content, no, not since finding BGG -- but I still shop funagain.com for their excellent customer service, quick shipping and huge selection.
jttm: Nope.
CortexBomb: Not at all, in fact, I consider the content half of those sites to be completely seperate from the stores. I appreciate what Gamefest does for the hobby, but it doesn't make me eager to shop their store
