EndersGame: What is the biggest amount of money you ever spent at one time, and what did you spend it on?

Woelf: Down payment on our house. I don't remember the exact amount, but it was well over the "recommended minimum" amount.
pwilz: Outside of the obvious mortgage, the most I ever spent at one time was the money I paid to re-construct my house after Hurricane Katrina. I am guessing it was on the order of $50-$70K.
