Genre_Fad: The Stormtroopers would miss, but the Red Shirts would fall into the oil pit trying to take cover. Then as the Stormtroopers tried to enter the base to take it over, they would all bump their heads cuz the doors would not slide up all the way and get nocked unconcious. Dementomstie: Red shirts seem to be a natural magnet to not only energy beams but trouble in general. While Stormtroopers don't have very good shooting skill it seems that this would be compensated for by the fact that the Red shirts literally couldn't run away from the shots, no matter where they ran the shot would go towards them. Also the Red shirts rarely have good defensive measures on them. "Hey, go down and explore this alien planet with technology that is the equivalent to a flash light and walkie-talkie." "OK sir!"
rdmasters: Oooohh. That's *hard*. Ummm... What happens after they both run out of ammo, with no hits on either side? What do you mean "Hand-to-hand"? They don't know how! What's it going to be? Who sissy-slaps the other first?
dr glaze et al: Stormtroopers. A close call though. Stormtroopers get paid to shoot but miss their targets, whilst Red Shirts get a great life insurance package. In a typical skirmish, the Red Shirts put their loved ones first and manage to get hit against even the worst Stormtrooper shots.
