Karlsen: Euphrate & Tigris: Do you play with the British variant (face to face since BGG doesn't support it)?

Actorios: No, I do not. For those who don't know, the British variant forbids to use tiles in a conflict if you can't match or supercede your opponent. It basically forbids "discarding tiles" through conflicts. I don't play it because it favors winners of conflicts who are already getting a lot from winning. The side effect of not playing this variant is that the game ends earlier (as less tiles get discarded).
