¿Question #3949?
skelebone: Do you utilize any means to protect game components against wear (e.g. cardsleeves)?
Derang3d: Card sleeves. With Shadow Hunters, I even use colour-coded card sleeves.
Narlgoth: Cardsleeves.
ocdspectrum: I use card sleeves for many games.
pricero1: I don't play with people who trash games.
Felimid: Yes.
Woelf: I keep them in the box when not using them.
MartinWin: No.
ricardofo: I use ziplocks to protect my counters
DrUnK3nPaNdA: I use card sleeves, guard dogs and landmines.
pwilz: Condoms
kathleenryan: No, on the contrary. I keep a nice big pitcher of Kool-Aid near my components just to tempt the fates. So far I've never had a mishap. Sometimes one can be too careful and bring tragedy upon ones-self.
Zelif: Some
Hendal: yes, but not much, we have so much humidity that I use to worry about , and it doesn't matter all said and done, just play the game, worse comes to worse buy another
Nebenerwerbsbauer: no
fnord23: Where appropriate, so to speak.
dgutierrez22: No, I buy to play, not collect.
Oinkaphone: Baggies baggies and lots of baggies. My game room looks like a crack den.
jasta6: Card sleeves, little zip lock bags, plastic card cases, chit trays, ect. ect... I guess that would be a YES!..................................................................................................
Polgara: yes
Capt O: yes
jouslare: Love gloves...
Blade Spirit: Yeah, on some card games...Iliade, LotR TCC, Colossal Arena, etc.
Wibblenut: bag up components in ziplock bags but this is as much for convenience as protection. do keep all my games stored in bags n boxes
Pepsi4Me2: Yes, I put everything back in the box.
MotUfan: Yep
rootbeer: Does "glaring" count? It seems to ward off most damage.
DHEK: No. I just be more careful with the game, that's all.
Kaypendragon: no.
stevencole: Nope.
Leo-T: no
ZiggyZambo: Only for Magic cards
captpackrat: I keep them out of the hands of idiots.
ickebeebon: yes, cardsleeves and plastic baggies
Reloaded: yes, on more pricey wargames and Euros...
deacondavid: Depends on the game - yes for some.
torinhill: No.
greglios: No.

Terminus_Est: Not since I gave up MTG
JCooperofCharity: Does the box it comes in count?
ptsuk: Most of the time, but i don't go to extremes.
Fawkes: Yep.
Loquutus: No, but I might.
vetinari7878: Nope.
puffinge: no

scriptorum: Loving care.
Yollege: No
POvidiusNaso: Nah.
joe_games: Nope.

TaliaIsabelle: When I used to play Magic yeah, but since I quit that, no.
GrandpaDave: Nah
skrutsch: Rarely. Citadels has cardsleeves for the roles.
Dante_Cubit: No. I'm not that anal.
snoozefest: y
chaddyboy_2000: Nope.
sourwyrm: yes
dakarp: Very rarely. I put Fairy Tale in sleeves, but the cards were clearly not lasting long, and they were just the right size for sleeves.
jttm: Yes. Cardsleeves
catchnick4: no
Lord_Prussian: Yes, cardsleeves in some games like Citadels where a few cards get heavy usage.
CortexBomb: Rarely...card games sometimes end up in sleeves for me though because games which cost 15$ to import and are thin stock are not worth rebuying
CDRodeffer: I thought about having all my cubes bronzed, but then I decided against it.
CharlieWonka: Yes
Spielfreak: sometimes
skelebone: No, I don't sleeve my cards, though I would consider it for some games that have components that are handled a lot, like the roles in Citadels.
